Here you will find information, news and resources for housing related support for young people aged 16-25 in Somerset.
The service is aimed at young people who may be homeless or threatened with homelessness and have a wide range of support needs and will be delivered by YMCA Dulverton covering Taunton, Sedgemoor and West Somerset and YMCA Brunel group for Mendip and South Somerset.
There are 190 bed spaces across the service aimed at young people requiring high, medium and low levels of supported accommodation. The contract is jointly funded by Children’s Social Care and Housing and is in place for an initial period of five years ending on the 31st March 2029. The contract will contain an extension period of up to two further two year periods until the 31st March 2033.
